HP Designjet 500 24-in Roll Printer Driver Download
Download Driver HP Designjet 500 Driver- It's been a long time until many HP Designjet 500 and 500ps is HP's main plotters for CAD, graphic design, rendering, technical drawings and every aspect of the picture AEC. I never could understand why HP, with all the experience and capabilities, can not increase the Designjet 500 and 500PS bit more.
So if you see a used HP Designjet 500 or HP 500ps, it's not a good investment for the 3D rendering or photo. HP Designjet 500 or 500ps age is acceptable for some kind of technical drawing lines in the AEC application because you will not see the appeal or other minor problems as much as the black-and-white line drawings. But if you want to do a photo exhibition, a little better HP 800 and HP Designjet 5000 or 5500 is significantly better. And obviously the new printers of today can produce better color.
In all cases, the "PS" simply means a kind of slow software PostScript RIP-like. It will work fine if you have eternal patience but it is better to buy real full-scale RIP like Wasatch Soft RIP. So HP Designjet 500 does not have on-board RIP (you just bought yourself Wasatch or comparable). 500ps models have the equivalent of RIP software on board, but it is slow and can not be updated to run another printer after you 500ps wears.
